The GCE Group is Europe’s leading gas equipment company and organised into four Business Areas; Cutting and Welding, Medical, High Purity and Process Applications.
Local sales companies are located in China, Croatia, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Romania, Spain, Sweden and the US with additional local sales offices in Austria, Denmark, Finland, Netherlands, Norway and Portugal.
GCE Group Headquarters are located in Malmo, Sweden and the main production units in the Czech Republic, Poland and China. The nave of the group is the Czech factory in Chotebor , some two hours drive east of Prague. Here, central functions such as R&D, Quality, Purchasing, IT and Logistics are based. Today’s product portfolio fits a large variety of applications, from simple pressure regulators and blowpipes for cutting and welding to sophisticated gas supply systems for medical and electronics industry applications. There are two central warehouses; the European Distribution Centre in Kladno, north of Prague and NDC, the Nordic Distribution Centre located in Malmo servicing more than 8.000 customers across the world!
GCE stands behind a large number of leading trademarks such as Autogen, Butbro, Charledave, DruVa, Mediline, Mujelli, Propaline and Rhöna, leaders within their own respective regional markets and applications.
In addition to certification according to ISO 9001 quality standard, products are built, tested and approved by BAM, BSI, Norske Veritas, US Dot, UL,CEN,DIN and SIS, amongst others. All units connected with medical products have EN approvals for ce marking and many GCE units are approved according to the environmental standard ISO 14000.
The GCE Group has grown rapidly since its foundation and leads the restructuring of the European gas equipment industry through mergers and acquisitions. In excess of 1200 people are employed by the group today.
